negatives:: stayed in room 512. you could hear all the traffic noises all night long. the halls smelled strongly of weed. ( non smoking hotel??) water pressure weak. breakfast was underwhelming. had homeless person in the breakfast area one morning. indoor pool was not heated. the door to get in from the parking garage would not lock. (security issue) ice machines were only on even floors. pillows were flat. positives : room was spacious and had 2 closets. bed were comfortable. staff was friendly.

I’ve been a gold elite member for 6 years and A Marriott member for over 10 years. I’ve been to Atlanta 3 times : October, November and now February. I’ve stayed at different properties with the usual 5 star staff and accommodations. This property I chose because it was in Buckhead. I stayed in Buckhead in November… no complaints. This hotel: 1 face cloths for 3 guests… where have you ever seen “ one facecloth? One garbage can for the suite; in the living room; no garbage in the bathroom or the bedroom? They put away the pitcher or ice water in the evening.. I came down to get water and there was none.. it was then that a gentleman gave me “ 2 small bottles “ after he saw me searching for water. In the morning I asked the front desk about these issues… I said I would complain about the lack of “ quality “ this property provided. This woman who said she wasn’t front desk said she had bottles of water to give me. I said why didn’t she say that in the 1st place. I’ve gone to Europe, Dubai, Thailand…ALL positive experience and I expect that as I have never had to ask but was given an exemplary experience.. Not this time.. The good they had a nice pool that was open until 11:00pm 👍🏽.. That was a plus for the grandchildren. Breakfast was 5 stars as usual.. so that’s that. I hope they do better.. I won’t return.

Close to my office so it was a convenient location. Room was clean but worn. Toilet handle was loose…happy it flushed. No housekeeping was offered for my 2 night stay. Breakfast was good and the hot items included scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, and waffles. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Needs Updating and Cleaning

While the people were great, and helpful and friendly, the hotel room itself needed a good cleaning. The bathroom toilet was loose and there were cobwebs and dust in corners. Several light switches didn't work or were poking out of the wall/barely hanging on. The grout in the bathroom had parts that looked pretty white, but most of it was various shades of grey to black and I couldn't spend too long thinking about it or I might not go back in. Additionally, the air conditioner in the room was way louder than it should have been. This combined with what sounded like drag racing right outside through all hours of the night made a not very restful night. Breakfast was mediocre. We will not be staying here again.

So noisy and very unclean room

First, the location is horrible! It is right off the freeway at an intersection. We were facing the intersection and it was so loud all night long with cars racing and constant noise. The room condition was awful. If we hadn't prepaid for the hotel, we would have moved. The furniture was worn and feeling. Both beds had stains all over the sides of the mattresses. The sofa bed had stains all over and the mattress inside was so bad that we wouldn't let our child sleep on it. The walls in the bathroom had damaged wall paper and cracks. The room felt very unclean! The picture of the firepit area is deceiving. It does not look like that at all. I think there are a couple of couches and that is all. We never saw the fire on. The entrance had overflowing garbage cans for the whole stay. The pool area smelled so strong of chlorine that we didn't swim at all. So disappointed in this hotel stay! And this was the last stop on a 12 day trip to multiple states so it was sad to end it on this note.
